Everything was amazing, the hotel is special and clean with first-class services. The room was reasonably spacious with a wonderful view, comfortable seating, tea as described. The location was marvellous and gorgeous for traveling around Gullane, near a restaurant clad in jacket collar and tie, and another couple of restaurants. Furthermore, up to the main area...

We were luck to have beautiful weather so enjoyed the beautiful gardens each day, the view across Muirifield golf course, visiting delightful nearby villages and walking on a beautiful beach with stunning views. We loved arriving back at our beautiful, comfortable cottage room where we could park at the door, relax then go for a delicious meal.Hotel staff were efficient, professional and charming. Would highly recommend a stay at Greywalls Hotel.

Greywalls was an oasis of peace and tranquility. We had a cottage room because we had our Cocker Spaniel,Katie, with us. It was very comfortable with an excellent bathroom with a bath and separate shower.Housekeeping was first class. The lounges were equally as good. The pianist in the lounge on Friday evening was a real treat! We enjoyed the beautiful country style gardens and the use of the putting green which had magnificient views overllooking Muirfield golf course, the Firth of Forth and Fife beyond. Service was friendly, prompt and attentive especially at breakfast and dinner. The food was very well prepared and presented. In addition,a lounge menu was available until 10pm and offered an excellent choice at a reasonable price.
My personal view is that white starched table-cloths would enhance the dining experience.Otherwise, everything else was first class.

The service was exceptional with all the staff most helpful. I stayed in one of the small rooms and found it quite comfortable. The location and setting are quite serene. The dinner meal and breakfast were both top quality and the service quite personable.
Tea and coffee service in your room is a pretty standard expectation but perhaps not available in the small single rooms.

Atmosphere, very relaxing pleasant enviroment. Dined in restaurant, food delicious and not expensive. Lovely gardens all round. Almost on golf course with outlooks over Firth of Forth. Delightful.
Got wrong paper in morning and depite bringing to staff attention nothing was done - pity only thing to irk in otherwise really enjoyable stay.

The location, overlooking the famous Muirfield Golf Links, was fabulous, the food delicious and the service was friendly and welcoming. It was a perfect place to stay before playing at Muirfield, especially as it is full of golf memorabilia from Open Championship Golf events.

The staff were very attentive. The shower pressure was low and the room felt a bit chilly upon arrival, which could have been improved.
